Star Gazer's Delight

In the book that we're reading, A Wrinkle in Time, the main characters travel through time and space.  One of their destinations is on a planet that is in the Orion Constellation.  We did a brief activity about the different constellations, their myths, and completed an art project entitled Constellation Art.  For one of their Learning Team weekly goals, teams could earn the privilege of making Star Gazer's Delight.  They are chocolate chip pancakes.  The pancake represents the night sky and the chocolate chips represent the star constellations.  This is an activity in which all of the teams enthusiastically participated.
